Beerenberg Giveaway (WA)

Courtesy of the lovely people at Beerenberg Farm, I have a few fabulous prize packs to give away, just in time for summer and the countless backyard barbecues that’ll no doubt be happening in months to come. The pack includes a trio of BBQ table must-haves: Tomato Chutney, Caramelised Onions & Red Pepper Relish, and a fun ‘Get on the Sauce!’ T-Shirt, AND a bonus mystery prize (conditions apply… LOL).

My first competition will be for us fine folk on the west coast as some of Beerenberg’s more savoury items aren’t too widely available in Perth, let alone regional WA. If at least one more West Aussie gets to enjoy some of Beerenberg’s lovely chutneys and relishes, then my job is done. Of course, I think the winner should definitely have a ‘welcome summer’ barbecue and share the goodness :)

Anyway, all I will ask people to do is tell me what your ideal sauce, jam, relish or other condiment is. How do you enjoy it? It can be simple as a good old meat pie with a zesty tomato sauce, or a touch more exotic like a lamb fillet wrap with a minted yoghurt relish. Whatever rocks your tastebuds.

1. Here on this post as a comment, ensuring that you have a valid email address attached, or

2. At my Gastromony page on Facebook as comment to my competitions post. If you do this, I will contact you via Facebook regarding the prize.

Bonus Prize! As a shameless exercise in increasing my Likes, if when I choose the winner you happen to also be a liker of my page, I’ll include a mystery bonus prize in the give away. This way, you can still win without liking yet another Facebook page, but if you care to take the time to Like me then bonus!

Competition will close on November 11, 2011 (Yep, that’s 11/11/11!). I’ll announce the winner shortly after.

    Tomato chilli chutney & I use it on just about anything savoury :)

    I could survive purely on condiments – we make so much that our fridge is always full of something, whether it is a curry mayonaise, roast beetroot relish, onion compote, chilli jam or sambal belecan.
    My favourite would have to be the lemon and roast garlic mayo.. i literally could have it on everything

    A good condiment can transform even the dullest of barbecues into a gourmet feast!!!! I love anything tomato -based especially spicy Mexican Salsas! The Berenberg products look awesome and Im really keen to try the Tomato Chutney!! Thanks for a great giveaway :)

    Mmm makes me think of caramelized onion & goats cheese tart! Open steak sandwich with bacon spinach leaves cheese & tomato chutney!
