Fab Christmas Gifts for Foodies

Sprouter

Finally, if you draw the foodie colleague for your work’s Secret Santa and the budget is under $20, try surprising them with a sprouter. Whether it’s wheatgrass for supercharged green smoothies or micro-herbs to dress up a dish, a sprouter is guaranteed to please.

Most health food stores sell jar-style sprouters (or check out this The Jar Seed Sprouter) or gardening centres and hardware stores will have more elaborate mini greenhouses. I think a jar sprouter is fantastic in its simplicity and not likely to frighten hitherto people lacking a green thumb.

My mother-in-law is in a nursing home living with dementia. She loves Ferrero Rocher chocolates. The last time I brought her a box she ate the whole thing. Every.single.one. In one go. :)
