Ice Cream Ball

I came across the Ice Cream Ball via David Lebovitz’s website (he has a fantastic ice cream recipe book by the way!) while researching why my ice cream maker failed. With summer coming up for us in Australia, what better gift than something that can turn leftover brandy custard into ice cream, all the while having fun kicking a ball with friends? Just use the ice from your Esky if camping or on a picnic, and add rock salt (you keep some in your car don’t you?).
